What is Sha'abi? It actually refers to the music style, which is urban Cairo, that emotes on anything and everything in life! Dancing Sha'abi is dancing to this music in a more free form and on a lower class level than Oriental. It is actually very FUN and PERKY to dance to this music in what is called the everyday peoples music. It is great for haflas and shows offering a variety of the Egyptian styles.

This dance form is the ever popular rage in Cairo! Fun and perky...the movements can also be stylized to fit into other forms of Egyptian "Raks Sharqi"
