Sharid Sana

Since the age of 4, Sharid Sana has been captivated by the dance. She developed her natural ability by participating in all school events & plays with her singing and dancing...which led to her invitation to participate in the children's television program "Carousel".

At the age of 9, she started training as an Olympic gymnast; however, her career as a figure skater was cut short by an injury she sustained during a competition.

Because of her drive and passion for artistic expression, Sharid continued her education in jazz and other forms of dance.

During her teen years she participated in a theater and singing group at school where she met Liliana Burgos, sho invited Sharid to join her modelling agency.

While Sharid pursued a degree in Dramatic Arts & Language, she continued to work as an actress. She participated in more than 15 plays at venues such as Diego Rivera and the forum Alcatraces. She toured with a performance company and also began working at TV Azteca where she acted in 2 soap operas and some chapters for Lo que Callamos Women.

Currently Sharid Sana constantly travels abroad to study with the International Stars of Belly Dance. She has travelled to the USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, & Egypt in order to grow professionally, perfect her technique, and to enhance her teaching abilities for her students.
