Starting with authentic folk dance and zills, Eastern Bloc Rock teaches the evolution of 9/8 dances from folkloric, to "Gypsy/Rom" bellydance, American Tribal Style, and Urban Tribal.  Students will learn a modern fusion style that retains the depth of tradition while exploring the newest modes of expression.
