This year the Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive's Creative Director, Samira Tu'ala, is sponsoring the Dancers Dream Tour to Egypt.

The Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive will be celebrating, its 7th year of phenomenal growth in 2009 and will be bigger and better than ever! In Las Vegas... 7 can only mean LUCK! And this will be your lucky year to have it all!


To usher in this great event they will kick off the celebration with a tour to Egypt, open to all those who wish to partake in this exciting adventure.

Your 12-day adventure starts in Cairo to partake in 3 fabulous class filled days at the Nile Group Festival, with the opportunity to take up to 3 classes per day from the masters of masters... Mahmoud Reda and Prof. Hassan Khalil.  These men are the pioneer giants of Oriental and Folk Dance of Egypt.  Other instructors of note are Aida Nour, Lubna Emam, Khaled Mahmoud , Tito Seif, and an arms length of other instructors to choose from.  Classes include a wide array of studies for Oriental, Folk, Cane, & Shabbi, including beginners to professionals.  This festival is kept to a limit to insure quality instruction space, so early registration is advised, as the classes do sell out. (Class costs separate from tour price)


Your adventure in Cairo includes 2 days of sightseeing, Khan el Kalili shopping for costumes, perfumes, gold cartouches, and any thing your eyes desire.  The Festival will kick off with the Opening Gala Dinner and Show, which features full and complete club performances of some Cairo's premiere dancers with full live orchestras and their troupes, to fill your sense of sound and sight.


The Festival offers a special night for anyone wishing to perform to live music or your own cd.  For those who want more shopping, music, costumes, canes, drums, scarves... everything will be at hand at the Nile Group Festival Bazaar located at your finger tips next to the class rooms.  No hoards of crowds to get lost in.


After your five days of hustle and bustle in Cairo...we will journey to Aswan to begin your relaxing Nile Cruise.  Along the way there will be stops for historical sightseeing in Aswan, along the Nile and in Luxor.  Aboard your Nile Cruise you will have a 2 hour dance class with Leyla Amir and another chance to dance at the Nile Cruises closing party.


Returning to Cairo, you will have one last day to catch your breath, or optional classes, shopping, or sight seeing excursions can be arranged for you.
