Farasha

Farasha Temple Dance Belly Dancer

Farasha, which means butterfly in Arabic, has studied and performed various dance styles since childhood. Her vision is to bring back the sacredness to belly dance, honoring the divine feminine in every woman through the most natural way a woman can move.

As a teacher, Farasha incorporates her desire to share her ever-increasing knowledge of dance technique, love of mythologies of ancient civilizations, body awareness, and the healing/esoteric arts to develop new methods that will accelerate her students' training and increase self-love. She has quickly established herself as one of nations most popular belly dancers. Known for her inspiring workshops, languid sultry movement, and ethereal music she invites her audience to open a window into her soul.

Farasha has been the featured dancer for Arabic singer Wael Koufury's concert as well as music videos and stage shows. She has been featured in publications such as Women's Fitness Rx, Las Vegas Revue Journal, Luxury Las Vegas, Summerlin Magazine. She has been a guest instructor for the Boston Ballet, Las Vegas' own Belly Dance Intensive and currently teaches at the JW Marriott's beautiful Aquae Sulis spa in Summerlin, Las Vegas.

Farasha is the founder of Sacred Hips productions and creatress of "TempleDanze," Fantasy-Fusion Belly Dance, for those who seek to empower their Body Temple through the ecstatic art of belly dance.

--Marjhani BellaMorte; Arcata, CA "Drilling daily will help technique and confidence improve the quickest. Remember to practice a relaxed face as well as the rest, this will keep you from making funny faces when performing. Drills don't have to be long or complicated, 10 minutes of basics a day can rapidly improve the dance as a whole." ...

--Ashtalea; Las Vegas, NV "If you find that your veil has somehow got stuck to your face, don't panic and fight with it...just blow (with your mouth) and it will fall right off."
