Zulieka has been belly dancing, studying, teaching and performing for about 30 years. She recognizes the importance of good body posture and elegance in any dance form and uses it in her dancing as well as teaching. She recognizes the importance of strict discipline in the proper technique inspiring the creative "soul" in each student she teaches through music and movement of the dance.
Some of the inspiring and influencing instructors are; Cassandra of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Aida Al Adawi, a prote`ge` of Jamila Salimpor of San Francisco. Currently she is teaching the troupe "Treasures of the Nile" at Sun City MacDonald Ranch, Henderson, NV. Her troupe received a gold and silver medal at the "Senior Olympic Dance" 2004 and 2005. Her troupe frequently performs and has participated in the "Lovin Life Health fairs", "Las Vegas Senior Idol", yearly Variety Shows at Sun City MacDonald Ranch, the "Renn Faire" and many more.
