Marisa
Marisa has studied dance since she was a child growing up in Hawaii. Her dance background has included classical western dance forms, Polynesian, west African, Latin and bellydance. Her current dance studies are primarily with Suhaila Salimpour, in whose format Marisa is level 2 certified. She dances with Bal Anat and the Suhaila Dance Company and is participating in Suhaila's Teacher Training Program.
Equally versed in Cabaret and Tribal stylizations, Marisa is also developing her own style of Latin-bellydance fusion.
Marisa frequently collaborates with Las Vegas bellydancer, Britt, for duet performances. She is a certified Vinyasa
yoga instructor. Marisa performs and teaches in Las Vegas, Nevada and around the world.
In 2008, Marisa will teach the Intensive's yoga warm-ups as well as Sunday's "Layering Undulations" class. www.MarisaLasVegas.com
