I have studied Belly dance since the age of 15. First in Israel and with the Bedouin tribe then in NYC with Serena, Ibraham Farrar, La Mari in Cape Cod, Bashkar the dances of India, Marianno Parra Flamenco and Spanish Dance. In CA I studied with Jamelia, Ieda, and others. I performed in San Francisco and Oakland, The Casbah, Taverna Athena, Greek Taverna, in NYC, CT, Taught dance and Ethnomusicology at Univ. of New Haven, Yale and Dartmouth. Performed in many restaurants and clubs on the east coast. Moved to Morocco and lived and danced there for 3 years, Performed for the Commandant of the Marine Corps, many Ambassadors, dignitaries and clubs in Rabat, Moroc. I performed in Germany, Keiserslautern and Nurnberg. I have had my own dance troupe and earned a grant from the state of CT. I hold a Masters Degree in Ethnic dance.
