Sacha
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Sacha began dancing at a young age with classes in ballet and jazz. During her high-school years, focus narrowed to ballet, studying strictly with royal academy of dance instructors. Shortly thereafter, she went on to work overseas in Japan for many years in Vegas-style review shows. In 1996, Sacha made the decision to stop dancing, and invested her time in the study of various forms of bodywork.
Several years passed, and good fortune found her desire to move again with oriental dance. She was thoroughly enchanted with the movement and the music, and completely hooked after taking a workshop with powerhouse Zahra Zuhair. Sacha feels indebted to her outstanding local teachers in Vegas: Judy/Saiida, Angela Palmeri, and Nadia Machon (currently in Albuquerque, NM). And, feels fortunate to study with greats Yousry Sharif, Jillina, Sahra Saeeda, and many others who continue to share and inspire with their talents through this beautiful medium.
Highlights include opening for Nancy Ajram and Kazem Alsaher in 2005 for nearly 6,000 guests at the Paris Hotel's Arabian Nights, and dancing with great friends and highly admired dancers Angela and Tanya in Ayala and Tanya's ‘Magical Passion' in Beijing, China in 2007.
Sacha brings elegance and a charismatic smile to every performance, whether at local restaurants, private parties, or corporate events. She can also be found teaching weekly classes at StudiOhm in Las Vegas.
