In order to start your career or hobby in dancing, it is necessary to get your foundations in order before tackling those complex and difficult movements. Aziza's foundations will give you the necessary basics in learning to Belly Dance.
These basics will include posture, proper stretching techniques, basic Oriental moves. Moves will include American and Egyptian figure 8s, Egyptian and Turkish camels, Mayas, flat 8s, and Oriental arm posture.
Students should have a better understanding of correct posture to avoid back pain and injury, recognizing the differences in styles of moves, and hand and arm postures.
This class is great for beginner students or those that would like a refresher course in "breaking down the basics." Please bring your favorite veil to play with and a hip scarf if you have one.
